Hi, my name is Lyle Green, and I'm the host of After The Gridiron

This show gives fans a chance to get to know former players on a deeper level.  They will hear about how the players got started in the game, stories from their careers, what is happening in their lives now, and much more.

My background

I am a retired pro football player myself, having played 10 seasons in the Canadian Football League.  I retired in 2011, playing my last year with the Calgary Stampeders after 9 seasons with the BC Lions.  I won my only Grey Cup title in 2006.

My mission

The goal of the show is to give fans a glimpse into the lives of the athletes they loved to watch.  Also to give the retired players a chance to share their highs and lows after leaving the game and discuss how they are adjusting to life after football.

"You can retire from a job, but don't ever retire from making extremely meaningful contributions in life."

Stephen Covey
